SENIOR DIGIAL MARKETING & P.R. MANAGER LATAM (2014-2015)
I focused on identifying, targeting and fulfilling media barters to drive exposure to 19 of Marcus Evans key event brands for Latin American (Conferences and Summits). Negotiated and established partnerships with digital publications, associations, bloggers and networking groups. Developed a robust social media strategy, from creating content for corporate social accounts and empowering subject matter experts on social channels to building relationships with relevant social media influencers. Monitored analytics and measured market response to the content created in order to correct or amplify marketing efforts for Marcus Evans events in Latin America.
LARGE SCALE EVENT PRODUCER LATAM (2013-2014)
Spearheaded, as a project manager, the new product for our Latin American operations. I developed multi-track Conferences, from an abstract idea to a Large Scale Event. This involved designing multi-track programs and selecting speakers based on Market Research, coordinating with direct and indirect marketing, sales, sponsorship and event logistics teams in Mexico and Chicago, on-site representation of Marcus Evans during the events. During my tenure at this role, I was able to save 15% of the budget by confirming strategic alliances with major airlines and I negotiated a sponsorship deal to raise the event's revenue by 20%.
CONFERENCE PRODUCER LATIN AMERICA (2012-2013)
Developed conferences from an abstract idea to a business event with high executives from the most important multinationals in Latin America. The stages of design include: Market Research and Interpretation, Design of an Agenda and Speaker Selection. As the project manager, I coordinated the Marketing, Sales, Sponsorship and Event Logistics teams. I was also present at the location chosen to run the event and coordinate speakers. During my tenure at this role, my teams generated $500,000 in revenue.
